One doesn't *become* a Southern lady. You either are, or you are not. No amount of acclimation will make up for a lack of upbringing based on bare feet, good manners, and the mastery of "puddling" rather than sweating.

I am from New Jersey where EVERYONE has heard of such things...I spent every winter of my childhood wearing my pajamas inside out in hopes of a good old snow day. Geeze you southern people are behind the times. And don't dare say that New Jersey is no good...you're clearly jealous as you're busy learning snow traditions from us. ~Fat Anna
